Kristen and Ben’s first date was over a cup of coffee at Panera.
Even though neither of them drinks coffee, they both willingly made an exception while discovering all the things they miraculously had in common.
They are both really into science, both spent a great deal of time at John Hopkins and both had a pair of cats.
While visiting Kristen’s home state of Colorado, they went on a hike at Breckenridge – a beautiful alpine lake with snow-covered mountains surrounding it.
Kristen was distracted by watching mountain goats climbing on the other side of the lake when Ben surprised her and asked her to be his wife.
For their engagement session we enjoyed a weekday morning hike at Great Falls – with nobody else around we got the display of vibrant autumn colors all to ourselves.
Can’t wait for their big day next fall!
