Brittany spotted Jim from across the room during rehearsal at DC community choir, and he introduced himself as they walked out of the building. They instantly had a crush on each other and would take the X2 bus home together after each rehearsal. Brittany would end up riding a few stops more just to stay on longer and Jim would walk a few blocks out of his way to walk her home. Long story short, a few years later they took a trip to Scotland to visit Jim’s family and there, amidst misty mountains and waterfalls Jim asked Brittany to be his wife. We visited some of their favorite DC places (Library of Congress and Jefferson Memorial) during their engagement session and I’m really looking forward to their summer wedding!
