Jon and Liz said their vows to each other at Osprey’s at Belmont Bay on a sunny Sunday in May. Their exuberant and whimsical wedding in purple and silver tones was definitely a night to remember. From the beautiful outdoor jewish ceremony with seven blessings and breaking of the glass to the surprise flash mob during father-daughter dance and the whirlwind of hora – I knew that their wedding day would be full of twists and turns from the moment I heard their proposal story. Jon had prepared a special scavenger hunt for Liz and she had to look for clues all over their apartment, decipher secret anonymous texts and travel all over DC to solve the mystery. Ultimately, the quest had led her to Jon waiting for her at the park near her old apartment and that’s where he asked her to be his wife. Goose bumps worthy story culminated with a heart warming celebration among family and friends. Congratulations, Liz and Jon! Thanks for inviting me to document your love!
