After first introduction by their mutual friend Kristen, Tim decided to send a facebook friend request to Katie to formally ask her on a date. Dating life is definitely different for two chefs, so one of their favorite ways to have a date night became ordering their favorite carry out food, renting movies and playing scrabble. One night Katie came home to a house full of candles, romantic dinner set up with lots of wine and words “Will you marry me?” spelled out on the scrabble board and the rest is history. Their beautiful wedding took place on a sunny September afternoon at Shadow Creek. It was such a fun and romantic celebration and reflected Katie and Tim as a couple perfectly! I loved all the wine elements they incorporated into their big day from the splashes of burgundy and pinks in the flowers to the exclusive rose welcome station for the guests. Design Cuisine catered a truly exquisite wedding feast and the guests continued the night by dancing up a storm and relaxing by a fire with smores outside. Wishing Katie and Tim many happy years ahead!
